Our Story

From One Observation to One Obsession

Our journey began with a simple observation: people were spending enormous amounts of time and money on skin and hair care, yet a large share of the problems they were treating started before a single product touched their body.

We tested nearly every shower filter on the market. Most were cheap in quality, look, and feel. Most used second-tier filtration media that barely did the job. And most attached to your existing showerhead, which meant uninstalling and reinstalling your fixture every time the filter needed replacing.

The most important thing we learned: carbon, which is found in almost every shower filter, does not perform well under the actual conditions of a shower — hot water at high pressure.

The Technology Inside Every Showerhead

The Filtration Media

Our filter uses a proprietary blend of two media chosen specifically for the hot, high-velocity conditions inside a shower.

KDF-55

KDF-55 consists of high-purity copper-zinc granules designed specifically for removing chlorine and heavy metals at high pressure and higher temperatures. It works by transforming chlorine into harmless chloride through a redox reaction.

Calcium Sulfite

Calcium Sulfite is used for chlorine removal specifically. It performs reliably in hot water, where carbon-based media degrade quickly.

Together, KDF-55 and Calcium Sulfite maximize the total amount of chlorine removed across the entire life of the filter.

The 125-Micron Stainless Steel Mesh

Nobody likes weak pressure. We designed our filter around a 125-micron stainless steel mesh that allows water to flow through at a high rate. We also chose a media particle size that maximizes pressure and ensures the filter will not clog during its lifecycle.
